In June 2020 the historic Hollywood Palladium venue had closed its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under Live Nation Entertainment’s operation, the usually bustling venue was without programming for the first time in its 80-year history. At the same time, the streets of Hollywood were swept with social justice activism. Together Live Nation marketing, diversity, and venue management divisions sought Kingdom of Mind’s services to embark on a project to communicate the organization’s values of equality and inclusion while safely activating the Hollywood Palladium venue.
