Case study

In June 2020 the historic Hollywood Palladium venue had closed its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Under Live Nation Entertainment’s operation, the usually bustling venue was without programming for the first time in its 80-year history. At the same time, the streets of Hollywood were swept with social justice activism. Together Live Nation marketing, diversity, and venue management divisions sought Kingdom of Mind’s services to embark on a project to communicate the organization’s values of equality and inclusion while safely activating the Hollywood Palladium venue.

Windows of Expression

Over the course of a year, the Windows of Expression Art Exhibition was conceptualized and produced with the project launching in the exterior windows of the Hollywood Palladium on Juneteenth (June 19th) 2021.

Free to the public, the exhibition featured fourteen unique pieces of art created by Los Angeles artists who shared their perspectives on social justice. Limited edition prints of the art were released in conjunction with the exhibition and can be purchased from Sugar Press Art.

Candace Valin Isabella could not have been more organized in executing the project which started as an idea to connect with the community during a time of hardship. She showed us it was possible to bring the exhibition to life and was with us every step of the way - envisioning and managing the project.
